SCENTED GEL CANDLES



"It's better to light just one little candle ......."  Okay, that's pretty hokey, but I think that you'll like the specialty scented gel candles we have to offer. One of the biggest benefits of gel is that it burns 3 to 5 times longer than a regular wax candle of the same size.  It can also be used to make a candle that's a little more interesting! All of the candles on the following pages are in glass containers so that the transparent or translucent quality of the gel wax may be enjoyed. Our simplest, but also very popular, scented gel candle is the plain jar candle available in four and a half ounce or nine ounce sizes.  Since there is an almost infinite combination of color and scent available, we have not included "buy now" buttons for these candles.  Any of the primary or secondary colors (ie. red, blue, yellow, green, purple, and orange) are available in either light or dark versions.  Please call our toll free number (1-800-558-0807)Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 7 PM Eastern Standard Time, or print out and mail the order form to our store.  We have included a list of scents at the bottom of this page.  These are fragrances that we currently have on hand; however, the possibilities are almost endless! If your desired scent is not in stock, we will contact you so that you can either substitute another or allow us a little more time to acquire the scent you would like.  Once the candle has been burned down, the cleaned jars make great kitchen or trinket containers.  If you leave off the lids, they double as vases!

Another of our featured candles is the "Kitchen Candle" so dubbed because the gel is scented with an herbal blend and decorated with sprigs of savory and cilantro from our home garden.  The container is a larger (14 ounce) version of the jar used for our plain scented gel candles.

We use a great deal of padding to make sure that our candles arrive in great shape, but should breakage occur during shipping, please contact us within three days of receiving the shipment.  Please make sure to store our candles in an UPRIGHT position as the gel wax will tend to flow or "creep" if left too long on a slant or on it's side.  As with any candle, please do not store or use them in any area where they will be exposed to high heat and/or sparks!

(PLEASE NOTE: BE SURE TO STORE ALL GEL CANDLES UPRIGHT!  If a gel candle is stored on it's side, the gel will slowly flow and you will end up with a lopsided candle with a buried wick.)


PLAIN JAR CANDLE

The "plain jar candle" is not really all that plain.  Due to the nature of the gel wax, there are often bubbles scattered through the body of the candle and the whole candle glows when lit. As mentioned above, you can order these scented gel candles in an almost unlimited combination of scents and colors. Some of our customers' favorites have been cinnamon scent/red gel, clove scent/light brown gel, and midnight rain scent/dark blue gel, but we are sure that you will come up with your own favorites. Four ounce candles are $7.00 each and nine ounce candles are $10.00 each.


THE KITCHEN CANDLE

The green, herbal scented, "Kitchen Candle" contains sprigs of cilantro and savory from our garden. We named this one the "Kitchen Candle" because the scent is a melange of rosemary, sage, and other culinary herbs that you would expect to find in a kitchen garden. We think that you will find the fresh herbal scent a natural for your kitchen! After the scented gel candle has been burned, the jar makes a great container for grains, beans, etc., or, used without the cover, becomes a lovely vase for fresh or dried flowers.
