MARTINI CANDLES

All of the candles on this page are "served" in martini glasses. Some, like the Manhattan, are not, strictly speaking, martinis. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure whether or not the Cosmopolitan is classified as a martini either. At any rate, I CAN tell you that our customers love all of these martini glass candles.

THE MARTINI CANDLE

Well, here it is, the classic martini, complete with polymer clay "olive".  It is scented with a eucalyptus based scent for a wonderful clean smell.  (I just couldn't see using a sweet or floral scent for one of these guys.)  The first martini candle that I ever made was a Christmas gift for a family friend.  My mother had suggested giving him a wine candle, but as he didn't drink wine, this seemed like a much better fit.

THE COSMOPOLITAN CANDLE

The pretty pink color is just one of the attractions of this candle. It's hard to make an unattractive candle when you start with an elegant martini glass.  This one looks even nicer with the handcrafted polymer clay "lime slice" as a finishing touch. I've heard customers refer to this candle as a watermelon martini candle or apple martini candle also.  The usual scent for this candle is a combination of a eucalyptus base and a bit of cranberry, but I am considering trying out the apple or watermelon scents as well, if my customers would prefer those. THE MANHATTAN CANDLE

While not strictly a martini candle, the manhattan candle is made in a martini glass and therefore seemed to fit best on this page.  It has a wonderful spice scent that will easily fill the room when the candle is burned.  The polymer clay "cherry" gives it just the right finishing touch. In the case of each of the candles shown here, the remaining inch of gel can be easily peeled out of the martini glass and the martini glass may then be washed in hot water with a good grease-cutting dish detergent.  You may then use the glass for a real cocktail of your choice.

THE PEACH MARTINI

The peach martini candle was originally made for a customer who was throwing a 21st birthday party for her daughter. This is a gorgeous martini candle, scented with "Peachblossom" scent. The handmade polymer clay "peach slice" adds the perfect finishing touch! Our customer, Suzanne from Anaheim, CA (who also ordered wine, champagne, beer, and margarita candles) graciously consented to our posting her comments on this website.
