WINE CANDLES

Since the advent of transparent gel wax, the wine glass candle has become a classic. Ours, however, are made to look and smell much more like the genuine article. These really are "wine" candles ---- not just blue gel with a flowery scent poured into a wine glass.

RED WINE and WHITE WINE CANDLES

Our wine candles come in both white and red "wine". Don't be fooled by our low prices. We use full sized 8 1/2 ounce wine glasses to make our wine candles! The white wine candle is scented with a chardonnay fragrance which is very light and slightly sweet. The red is made with a merlot scent, which, while still a bit sweet, is a deeper, fruitier aroma, more fitting for a "bolder" red wine.

Since you, or the recipient, if you are buying the wine candle as a gift, will likely use the wine glass later to contain real wine, we have chosen to use a general purpose wine glass instead of choosing two types more suited to red or white wine specifically.

These are real bargains at only $7.95 each! We know that shipping costs are high these days, but since we are doing everything that we can to keep our prices low, we are unable to subsidize the shipping costs by hiding a surcharge in our pricing. Our shopping cart is programmed to come as close to the real cost of shipping (plus shipping cartons, bubble wrap, etc.) as possible. We are situated on the East Coast, so our Mid-west and West Coast customers unavoidably pay the highest shipping charges. In some instances, we have been shipping by parcel post in order to avoid the surcharge imposed on all packages sent Priority that are over 12 inches square and shipped to fairly distant destinations.

THE CHAMPAGNE CANDLE

For that really special occasion, break out the champagne (or in this case, the champagne glass gel candle)! This lovely candle is scented with champagne scent which is a little sweeter and less "grapey" than the the chardonnay scent. The champagne flute can be washed and used for the real thing once the candle has been burned down.
